About the Old Wood Workshop

We specialize in antique, original surface, wide plank flooring and wall board from the 18^th and early 19^th century.  We also carry a selection of architectural antiques such as salvaged antique stone.  In the early 1990’s I started salvaging local barns in northeastern Connecticut and made furniture from the reclaimed antique wood.  From there I transitioned into salvaging period houses and found that the best wide plank flooring came from the attics of these houses.
