Reclaimed Antique Flooring Inventory

The antique flooring for sale below is available only as complete batches. Most batches are reclaimed antique floors salvaged from old houses or barns, but occasionally we will include a batch of wood that can be milled into flooring or have other uses. 1,250sf of fantastic, 18C. hand-planed, white pine attic flooring from PA.  Nice thickness.  Widths range from 8” to 14+/-” with most lengths in the 8’ to 12’ range plus some 4’ to 6’ shorts.

1,100sf of exceptional, 18C. hand-planed, white pine attic flooring (about 8% red pine).  Widths range from 6” to 19” with an average of approximately 14”+ and lengths from 4’ to 18’ with an average of approximately 12’+/-.

130sf of early 18C., wide poplar flooring from a Fairfield, CT house.  Lengths from 7’6” to 10’+.  Widths from 12” to 19”.

Flooring batch #131:  475sf of early (c.1850's) rough sawn white pine from a CT attic.  This early, rough sawn flooring would be a good candidate for having a sanded floor or an exposed sub-floor.  Widths from aproximately 9” to 20” and lengths from approximately 6' to 12'6”, plus some extra pieces.

725sf of original surface, wide flooring from PA.  It is a very dense, old growth white pine with a pumpkin color under surface.  Great widths and lengths.  Widths range from ~9” to 17”.

250sf batch of very wide 5/4, foot worn and painted white pine from PA.  Widths from approximately 10” to 21” and lengths from 6'+ to 12'+.  Good candidate for stripping and having the original surface exposed.

250sf of incredibly wide white pine and the longest boards I've ever had, over 21' long. Widths from 12” to 18” and lengths from 12' to 21'8”, plus 3 boards that are 5' long but wide.

Flooring Batch #116 SOLD

This batch of material is appoximately 35 years old and was used as shelving to store rugs and rolled plastic materials.  I believe it is a mix of mostly Spruce with some Eastern White Pine. Approximately 2000 sf of 7” wide x 12'6”long x 3/4” thick material.

Batch #111: Oak

550sf of new, wide oak planks.  The boards are 1” thick and rough sawn.  They could be used as is for a traditional rustic look or hand planed.  Many of the widest boards from the center of the logs are  highly figure from being quarter sawn.  Almost all of the boards are 10'6” long.

500sf of medium quality, partially painted and/or thickness planed antique oak.  It is priced to sell and will make a great antique floor once trimmed, edged and heavily sanded.

Batch #104

This batch is called a 'smoke decorated' floor and it was the entry hall to the c.1811, Suffield, CT. house. It is in an 'L' shape b/c it wrapped around a staircase. The wood is Red Pine.

194sf of super wide, rough sawn flooring NH. Most likely white pine and hemlock mix from an attic. The thickness ranges a bit, but averages approx. 7/8" thick.

Batch # 94: Antique Chestnut
290sf of original surface (straight sawn) chestnut flooring. This batch has some cracks that can be repaired when installed and ends that might need trimming. Widths from 9" to 15" +/-. Approximately 3/4" to 7/8" thick.

New wide board white pine flooring

We have 'blank' stock available to be milled and hand-planed for flooring, which will vary in length from 6'+/- to 16'. The widths will also vary from 8" to 20" depending on what is available.

Batch # 74: Chestnut
217sf of straight sawn, wormy, chestnut attic flooring. Widths of 4" to 13" +/- and lengths from 3' to 9'6". Original surface, nice color.

450+ square feet of relatively new (30 to 40 years old), straight sawn oak from local horse barn. Boards average 10" wide and range from 5'+/- to 9'+/-.
