The
Old Wood Workshop offers salvaged
antique flooring, resawn or remilled
antique flooring, wide board flooring and vintage recycled building materials
in chestnut, oak and pine. Our inventory of architectural
antiques, such as antique iron hardware,
antique doors, antique
stone, fireplace mantels,
and other unique items is always changing. Our antique
flooring inventory is updated frequently online and through our mailing
list.
The Old Wood Workshop can provide quality antique wood for homeowners as well as building contractors, designers or architects. We also supply small batch stock for cabinetmakers, furniture makers or other woodworking projects. Our supply of sawn and hand-hewn beams is available for rustic fireplace mantels and we also have an inventory of table-top or countertop stock.
The Old Wood Workshop is a small family business. Although we do not have traditional retail hours, you are welcome to visit us in Pomfret Center, Connecticut. We are available by chance but strongly suggest making an appointment. Our 1730s Colonial farmhouse home features remilled antique floors and custom-made Shaker-style furniture.
