This hand-painted restaurant sign is big, weathered and probably early to mid-1900's. It is painted over an earlier sign which reads 'Mays Restaurant' and 'Cigarettes.' The Sea Grill artwork is a caricature of a fish on a line and 'sole' written on the left side, a red lobster on the right and 'SEA GRILL' in the center. The left end is missing the outer trim and a crack runs along much of the length. The sign would be perfect for a cathedral ceiling, over a large fire place or above a set of windows. It measures 12' long x 16.5" tall x 2&1/4" thick. The fish and the lobster take up 32" of each end.
