1780s Corner Cupboard (#1)

Original feature from 1780s Grafton, MA, house that was built into the structure of the house and was carefully removed as a whole unit. The side boards that support the shelves need to be re-attached and the cupboard was built around a corner beam which measured 7”x 7”. The unit is 97” (8’1”) tall. The flat face housing the doors is 38” wide and the beveled sides are each approximately 9&3/4” wide.

From the top looking down, the widest point is 52”, the depth from the center of the face to the back corner is 32”, and the depth from the sides to the back corner is 37”. The doors are 24&3/8” wide x 37” & 52” tall. The hinges are 1&1/2”, 3-knuckle cast butts.
