Antique Well Stone
This well stone came from an antique cape in Willington, CT. It was set on the ground and not in use. It is quite large and flat, very handsome rectangular shape and in great condition. It measures approx. 46.5” deep x 67.5” wide x 3” thick. The hole is 22” in diameter and is off-set to the right and towards the back. The center of the hole is 22.5” from the back and 30” from the right. It includes the center cut-out stone which looks like it might have been used as a grind stone. Two letters carved near center of ‘wheel’.
